To relaunch Acura’s brand and tell their story, we didn’t hire fancy celebrities to blurt out fluffy words like most car ads do. We let Acura’s audience play.
Beat That the Game was the first ever mobile racing game in which the visuals in each level matched the visuals that were prevalent in games from the specific car’s era. As the levels progressed, so did the treatment of both graphics and music, showcasing Acura’s role in pop culture and their 35 year history as a performance brand.
